The 8-th specialized fair for the hospitality industry, independent retail and small and mid-sized businesses has taken place in Krokus Expo from March 21 to March 23, 2018. This is an annual global event, hosted by the leading chain store METRO. The total surface of the exhibition was 21 000 m2, 400 participants, more than 500 educational sessions for caterers, hoteliers and entrepreneurs in the retail sphere.
During all the exhibition interactive master-classes for beginning chefs with the ability to take part in the processes of cooking under auspices of famous chefs, express-course of winology. A precise attention is paid to professional actions, among which is the V, anniversary all-Russian open culinary championship Chef a la Russe, II all-Russian caviste championship, sommeliers and bartenders.
In addition, the today’s trend is the digital decisions that were highlighted during the fair: the automatization and digitization of business, cloud technologies, innovative decisions and start-ups.
Group of Companies Luding, especially its wine project L-Wine and strong spirits project L-Spirits have performed during the METRO EXPO with the variety of wine specialties, classics and trendy cocktails from strong spirits. L-wine and L-spirits had their own stands. On the L-spirits stand professional bartenders were performing, they were creating cocktails from the Artsakh “mulberry” and “plum” distillates. There was also a chance to taste the Armenian cognacs “Noy” and “Legends of Sevan” and the Georgian “Askaneli Brothers”.
L-wine stand has presented its brand portfolio: new brands of still wines from Italy, France, Spain and the New World as well as the classics that for many years is part of the portfolio with the widely known grape varieties and sparkling wines. During the fair Luding representatives met the partners, participated in the caviste show – these three days were full of interesting events that facilitated the business development in present and in future.
