On March 16, a lecture was delivered by renowned French art expert and specialist of Collectible design Aurelie Julien (Aurelie Julien Collectible Design) in the Fifth Avenue showroom, uniting the high design and art under the same roof. Aurelie told Moscow architects and designers about the trends of the collection design market, introduced its modern terminology, shared news of the launch of furniture lines of famous masters, and gradually gave a consideration to the process of placing them in the interior. The lecture was followed by illustrations of completed projects and items from the latest collections.
Aurelie Julien has experience under her belt in management of Parisian galleries Kreo and Carpenters Workshop, cooperation with Marc Newson, Martin Szekely, Wendell Castle. And this is not the complete list of those with whom she had a chance to meet and work. Today Aurelie Julien is the head of the company Aurelie Julien Collectible Design, which works closely with architects and private clients, advising on the acquisition of the collection design. Also Aurelie Julien is in charge of the first furniture line by Joseph Dirand, represents Isabelle Stanislas and Bismut & Bismut. Among her most recent projects is the launch of a line of American furniture designer Virgil Abloh.
Also the evening was attended by representative of the Brussels art fair BRAFA, art consultant Catherine de Rochambeau-Limonad, who told the audience, where you can see the collection design and shared the calendar of world art events for the coming year.
