From 4-6 April 2017, the annual specialized exhibition METRO EXPO 2017 was held in Moscow in the territory of Crocus Expo IEC. It presented products and alcohol, consumer goods, household goods, dishes, gifts, furniture, office and trade equipment, cosmetics, perfumery, the beauty industry, building materials, tools, goods for children and expectant mothers, clothes, shoes, fashion. The philosophy of METRO EXPO is the creation of a communication platform for the interaction of key market players - representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, government agencies, goods suppliers and services providers, media, independent associations with the support of METRO company. At this event, a platform is created where everyone who believes in the potential of small and medium-sized entrepreneurship in Russia may freely conduct a dialogue on the present and future of the enterprises of trade and restaurant and hotel business. Thanks to the support and participation of METRO partners this exhibition turns into an unique professional event every year. METRO EXPO combines not only elements of the exposition with the presented product range from the leaders of the FMCG industry, but also transfers unique business knowledge and technologies. This year METRO EXPO was attended by 18,000 unique visitors, the exposition area was 20,000 M2, there the following business services were presented: banking, consulting, leasing, insurance, cars, telephony and IT solutions, the recent technologies for document management, digital tools for business promotion and many others, more than 750 forums and trainings, seminars, training programs were held becoming a source of new business skills and knowledge, information about the trends of the market development. And also the programme included: an analysis of key indicators of the retail market and HORECA, introductions on administrative issues and legal advice, shows and master classes. At METRO EXPO 2017 it was possible to receive more than 4,000 exclusive offers of goods from major suppliers. 250 stands of participating companies, federal and local suppliers - all this is METRO EXPO 2017.
