Outstanding. A great wine, balanced, tannins are getting more round, intense fruit! Ill keep it for 10-15 years more and cant wait!

Whoever says 2003 is a bad year in Bordeaux does not know a great deal.
This is wonderfully driven with a intense amount of fruits. Dark currant oak smoke vanilla sweet plum cherries over black forest chocolate coffee and deep underbrush
Extremely beautifully elegant on the nose
Ripe soft yet firm tannin to a wonderfully long-lasting finish going for minutes
A blend of 57%CabF 43 Merlot definitely beef up this wine

Just stunning. This was decanted 3 hours before which benefited this wine a lot. Powerful but with plenty of finesse. One of the best Angeluses I’ve had. Burgnut 97pts
An outstanding Angelus vintage, only slightly bested by its 1989 sibling. 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc. The primary difference with it is that the ‘90 is still seemingly on its ascendancy. So deep and potent with complex flavours layers lurking underneath despite a 2 hour decant. I want to revisit this in 5 years. A massive, elegant wine - my style!
