This white is made of grapes from a vineyard close to the Mediterranean coast near Languedoc. It presents subtle taste of sea salt as grapes are exposed to sea-breathe. Good value indeed to the price.

A lovely collioure red wine from the Roussillon region (south of France). Powerful, Oaky with a taste of red fruits, soft tannins. The wine maker is Pierre Gaillard (he previously worked with E.Guigal)!!
Jonathan Lister
Slightly tart in the mouth but has a satisfying, savoury and lip-smacking character to it. Creamy, grapey, serious.

Value for money quite dry almost with a bitter note

Had the pleasure of spending the night near Collioure. Had this for our meal. What a pleasure. Red fruits, leather, caramel and a long protracted after taste.
Oscar Reitsma
Dark fruit, plums, tannins, spice, orange, mushrooms, earthy, great balanced, already accessible!
Roy First
A very tasty red blend from the Languedoc/Roussillon south. Complex dark fruits, leather and soft tannins.

Great wine for light dinner and to sip alone!
Ben Yates
Rich, fruity red with a touch of spice to the finish. Went well with nachos.
Koen Rombouts
Deep ruby, medium + aroma intensity. Cooked red fruit, cooked fig, Chocolate, licorice, meaty notes. Dry, medium + acidity and tannines. Medium alcohol, medium + body, flavour intensity and fruity finish. Complex, intense, balanced, length. Not the highest finesse, but great easy drinking wine.
Suzanne Jansen
Deep ruby colour. Medium+ intensity in the nose, aromas of stewed plum, strawberry, blueberry and fig, licorice, chocolate, meat, pepper and vanilla. Dry, medium acidity, round medium+ tannins, medium+ body, medium alcohol. Flavours of red berries, figs, meat and chocolate. Medium+ finish, where the fruit flavours hold themselves well. Very good quality wine. Curious to match it with the planned meat and beetroot dish.

Half bottle kept uncorked 24H in the kitchen.
Bouquet is more complex and hints of liquorice and underwood appeared. No other change (see precedent TN).
Gorgeous Collioure with an outstanding QPR!
Upgraded from 3.8 to 3.85/5.

Humongous! Huge earth. Like a Cahors, Cab Franc, or even a Nero D’Avola? Big assed body for a Burgundy shaped bottle.
Stephen Fenton
Punches way above its price point... comes across as an aged Burgundy with extensive stone displacing any sense of fruit. Very dry and quite tight...
Calvin Krogh
Tobacco and chocolate with blackberries
James Horan
Very concentrated Collioure from Galliard. Deep colour and dark ripe fruits balanced with good structure and pleasant finish.
John Race
Blackberry fruits but not overly so. Light to
Medium body.
